This Privacy Policy explains how Montage App, Inc. ("Timer Machine," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our mobile applications Timer Machine and Timer Machine Pro (together, the "Apps") and our website www.timermachineapp.com (the "Website"). Please read it carefully. By using the Apps or the Website, you agree to the practices described here.
 

The short version

• The Apps do not collect any personal data. They do not require an account, and they do not send your timers, settings, or any other information to us or to anyone else. Everything the Apps store stays on your device.

• The Website collects only what you choose to give us — for example, your name and email address when you contact us or subscribe for updates — plus the standard technical information (such as cookies and IP address) that our website host, Wix, processes to keep the site running.

• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
   

1. Information handled by the Apps

No personal information is collected. Timer Machine and Timer Machine Pro work entirely on your device. You do not need to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.
 

Data stored on your device only. The timers you create, the names you give them, their durations, and your chosen notification sound are saved locally on your iPhone, iPad, or other Apple device so the Apps can remember your preferences. This information is not transmitted to us and we cannot see it. Deleting the App from your device deletes this data.
 

Notifications. If you allow notifications, the Apps use them to alert you when a timer finishes. These notifications are scheduled and generated on your device. You can turn them off at any time in your device's Settings.

No tracking, analytics, or advertising. The Apps do not contain third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software, and they do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
 

Information from Apple. You download the Apps through the Apple App Store, which is operated by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics about the Apps (for example, the number of downloads, or crash reports if you have chosen to share diagnostics with app developers in your device settings). This information does not identify you personally.
 

2. Information collected through the Website

The Website is built and hosted on the Wix.com platform. We collect information on the Website in the following ways:
 

Information you provide to us.

• Contact form ("Get In Touch"): if you send us a message, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message.

• Subscribe for updates: if you subscribe, we receive the email address you provide so we can let you know about new features and updates.

• Email: if you email us directly at timermachineapp@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
   

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit the Website our hosting provider, Wix, automatically records certain technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies, log files, and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below) and is used to operate, secure, and improve the Website.

3. How we use information

We use the information collected through the Website to:

• respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests;

• send you updates about new features if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time — see below);

• operate, maintain, protect, and improve the Website;

• Service providers. Wix.com hosts the Website and processes the information you submit through our forms and the technical information described above, in accordance with Wix's privacy policy (https://www.wix.com/about/privacy). Our email is provided by Google (Gmail), so messages you send to us are processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy. If we send email updates to subscribers, they may be sent through Wix's email tools.

• Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Timer Machine, our users, or others.

• Business transfers. If Montage App, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We would notify you of any change in ownership or in how your information is used.
   

5. Cookies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential for the site to function and to keep it secure (for example, cookies set by Wix to load pages correctly and to protect the site from abuse). Others may be used to measure and improve how the site is used.
 

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, although some parts of the Website may not work properly without essential cookies. The Website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
 

6. How long we keep information

• Apps: we do not receive any of your data, so there is nothing for us to retain. Data stored on your device remains until you delete the App or clear its data.

• Contact and email inquiries: we keep your message for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

• Subscribers: we keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

• Technical website data: retained by Wix according to its own retention practices.
   

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, and we rely on Wix's security safeguards for the Website. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
 

8. International transfers

Montage App, Inc. and its service providers (including Wix and Google) may store and process information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as our service providers' standard contractual clauses, to protect information transferred internationally.
 

9. Children's privacy

The Apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The Website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
 

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD). These may include the right to:
 

• access the personal information we hold about you;

• correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

• delete your personal information;

• object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;

• receive a portable copy of your information;

• know what information we collect and whether we sell or share it (we do not); and

The Website and the Apps contain links to third-party sites and services, such as the Apple App Store, Instagram, and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
 

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Effective date" above. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (for example, on the Website or, where appropriate, in the Apps).
